Positive experiences
Engaging with positive experiences is a common way of preventing and recovering from various mental health problems.

Many people use this as a way of recovering self esteem and being engaged with activity as a way of reducing time spent ruminating (or overthinking) which often leads to anxiety and depression.

Positive experiences may be social (spending time with others), creative, doing things that are enjoyable, learning new skills, engaging in hobbies, or doing things that are aligned with your values - such as helping others or activism.
